Eagle Crags Hike
8:30 AM · Eagle Crags Trailhead, Rockville
Moderate · 5.2 mi round trip · ~1,100 ft gain
The classic Andersen Thanksgiving hike. Steady climb out of the desert to a ridge looking straight across at Zion's south wall and the Virgin River valley. Bring water, layers, and real shoes — the last stretch is loose rock.

Zion Canyon Morning
9:00 AM · Zion National Park — 20 minutes up the road
Easy · mostly paved
Early drive up the canyon before the crowds — Riverside Walk if the weather holds, the Watchman overlook if it doesn't. Easy enough for grandparents and strollers.
